Whatbox Creative Studio Design
Architecture and Interior Design
CONCEPT
The WHATBOX studio and office design is conceived as a creative workplace structured around the stages of the design process. Each floor is dedicated to a different phase, from ideation and concept development through to detailed design and presentation, allowing teams to collaborate, focus, and flow as required.
Materiality plays a key role in expressing this progression, with timber and metal used consistently throughout the building, becoming more refined in application as the design process advances. The studio is supported by a basement workshop and creative space that remains visually connected to the ground floor, while social, studio, and quiet work zones are distributed vertically to encourage both interaction and concentration within a flexible, inspiring work environment.
“A basement level was added to accommodate the workshop and creative space. Kept open and visually connected to the ground floor, it maintains transparency throughout the studio while allowing passers-by to see the hive of creativity inside.”
“Located on the ground floor is the social space where people can come together in a relaxed environment.”
