Interior Design and Brand Experience
CONCEPT
Inspired by the stadium concept, the adidas flagship store in New York translates the brand’s “real, raw and fast” ethos into an immersive retail environment. The flagship combines sports performance with culture, shifting the field of play from the stadium to the city and positioning the store as an interactive brand destination.
Designed as a testing ground for athletes of all levels, from grassroots to professional, the store features experiential zones including an indoor running track and football testing areas. These in-store experiences allow visitors to trial the latest adidas products, measure performance, and track personal progress within a dynamic retail setting.
“Reclaimed stadium bleachers are located within the front of the store to create a live window experience where visitors can watch sports and attend events held by brand ambassadors and key influencers.”
“The interior space was stripped back to the buildings original structure and the materials palette used had to be real and raw to create an authentic stadium environment.”
