Pop-Up Activation Design and Brand Experience
CONCEPT
The Black Balsam Cocktail Lab concept was developed to design an immersive pop-up event for Riga Black Balsam, aiming to attract a younger, more dynamic fan base. Called The Riga Lab, the event offers a unique brand experience where visitors can engage with the product by experimenting and crafting their own Black Balsam-based cocktails. The design is inspired by the brand’s distinctive production process, where 24 all-natural ingredients are infused together in a single barrel. This idea is reflected in both the structure and the user experience of The Riga Lab.
The physical space is built by deconstructing a barrel into its parts, such as the fins and rings, and reimagining them using a variety of materials. This creates an unexpected, bold aesthetic for the Riga brand while staying true to its roots through the inspiration of the crafting process.
Visitors are invited to the central interactive area, where they can get hands-on and explore their creativity, all while connecting with the brand in a fun and memorable way.
