Retail Interior Design and Brand Experience
CONCEPT
“Prepare for your next adventure” defines the concept behind the adidas Terrex flagship store in Munich Germany, translating the brand’s outdoor performance ethos into an immersive retail interior. Designed as the first store dedicated exclusively to adidas Terrex products and services, the space establishes a new benchmark for the brand’s physical retail environment.
Sustainability is embedded throughout the interior design, with natural materials such as timber and clay-based finishes selected for their environmental performance, including improved air quality and natural humidity regulation. These materials reinforce the connection between the built environment and the landscapes that inspire the Terrex range.
Live foliage is integrated across the store to create an authentic and vibrant link to nature. Green walls and plant-clad columns are supported by an innovative irrigation system concealed within the ceiling structure, allowing integrated planters and hanging plants to be maintained and watered automatically.
Large-scale digital installations are incorporated throughout the space, acting as windows to the outside world and visually connecting Terrex users to natural environments through expressive, immersive content.
